NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals (ND1)

This Diploma, designed for people who want to progress their career in health & safety, is made up of four units: Managing Health and Safety; Hazardous substances/agents; Workplace and work equipment safety; and Application of health & safety management in the workplace.

Course details:

• Approximately equivalent to 3rd year degree studies, level 6
• Satisfies academic requirements for Graduate Membership (GradIOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
• Allows delegates to start a professional journey to Chartered Membership.
• Holders of this Diploma may use the letters “DipNEBOSH” after their name and attend the NEBOSH Graduation Ceremony after successfully completing of the award.

Duration: 9 days (unit A)

34 days over an 18-month period plus exams (dates for units B, C and D to be confirmed upon completion of the previous units.)

Assessment: Three 3-hour exams for Units A, B & C and a workplace-based assignment for Unit D. All are set and marked by NEBOSH and to satisfy the requirements for the award of the NEBOSH Diploma candidates must pass all units within 5 years.
